When Double Masters was being spoiled and everyone was losing their minds because of all the loots that would reprinted in this set or arguing if this is the end of magic or the best set or worse set or Just Greed on the part of WoTC. I was looking at this Mox Opal and losing my mind about a different thing.

The bearer of this Mox Opal is not revealed but with those claws and wings one can surmise that this is Atraxa , Praetors Voice. This Mox Opal as you can see has not been corrupted , not been compleated or dismembered to serve a different purpose. It remains as it was when it was created and Atraxa looked at this little trinket with wonder. A wonder that seemed out of place for a Phyrexian that was created to serve the Praetors.

This made my mind wander back to New Phyrexia and the much hinted but never confirmed return there. From the last that we knew about that plane  . the Praetor Urabrask is protecting the remaining Mirrans in the furnace layers. Could it be that Atraxa will be playing a very big part in the upcoming set? And if she had these doubts will she go against the Orthodoxy of Elesh Norn to be....something else? Will she discover her spark? Making her the first Phyrexian to travel the planes and if so would she not just be spreading the Oil?

Many things were running in my mind that despite the whole slew of Magic products I am still interested in playing this game and not just for the bling. Atraxa has intrigued me since she appeared in the Commander's set and I have regretted not buying her when the chance came upon me once or twice.

New Phyrexia and Atraxa , would she be the catalyst for change that might help the Mirrans take back their plane? Or would she be a wild card who might leave the plane when she discovers that she has the Spark of a Planeswalker within her?

All I know is that I am excited to come back to New Phyrexia and this new set that they would be announcing after Zendikar Rising would be it or I would lose it....and then come back after a month to know if they have announced anything else New Phyrexia related. Hahahahahaha

Will it be Good or Bad Atraxa? Will Karn just blow everything up? When oh when will we know?

A couple of weeks back I was able to watch the new SM cinema safety video. SM management was reassuring their patrons that they are doing all they could to make the mall a better and safer placer for everyone. Much can be said about the whole affair but it was reassuring.

Then I noticed this one particular scene.I am glad that there are barriers and other safety features....

"Pero sinong kahera ang nagsusukli ng 1000 pesos sa customer na bumili sa iyo ng something?" 

"Nagpapalit ba siya ng....1000 pesos din?"

"I mean the highest denomination is 1000 pesos and if this customer bought something would it not be safe to assume that this 1000 will be broken into smaller bills? But No. The Cashier handed it back."

And so baka nga nagpabuo ng barya yung customer! Mystery solved!

Recently I reacted to a vlog of a girl who had the cringe level cranked up to level 9999. She was complaining that a guy brought her to this and that place and that she only eats certain kinds of foods. And that she would never give another chance if that is all he can feed her. As of this writing it seems that the link to the video had been taken down. I am not sure if this is because of all the bashers she received with comments like "Di ka naman ganun kagandahan" and "I would not date you." Probably she had enough of that particular attention. 

In contract to this person my wife and I dated making "tusok-tusok" ng chicken balls and squid balls. We both come from families that really know how to cook but we developed our tastes together. Things we liked and disliked and disagree on. We still like making "tusok tusok" pre-pandemic. 

I guess what I am saying is when you judge a person by what he can let you experience on a first date then you might be missing out on something there. There is something more to a person that just the food that he can let you experience and quite frankly when you like someone it doesn't even matter where you are. You could be at the most annoying place on earth but have a blast. Of course if a person is as hard to please as that girl she would not even enjoy anywhere. Even if it is the nicest places on earth.

While I have never let my wife and daughter go hungry I am happy that  both of them can adjust to simple tasting food to those with a lot more layers to it. We can go to places and taste weird things just once and maybe add those flavors to our palettes or never touch the stuff again for as long as we live. Mostly we come back to our favorite spots and after this pandemic will be visiting all of them, if they are still open and able to have us that is.

It is ok to know your preference regarding food as we are teaching Aven but to base a certain outcome because someone brought you to fast food. Well that is just sad. Aven knows what she wants but I don't think we are molding her to be someone judgemental of another persons capabilities on a first date. I would want to the best for my Aven too but then again that would be for her to decide in the future.

I hope that this girl serves as an example as what not to be. Men and women already have enough problems as it is.

"Lands that come with a choice you’ve never had before..."

I am sure that Mark Rosewater meant this particular land that had been leaked before Zendiclues came out. Where you could choose which side of the card you would use on the battlefield. Either a Plains or Island in this particular case. 

Of course I had other things in store for this one and one of the choices might be this:

1) When this land enters the battlefield choose the player on your left or right. Slap that player until he or she discards a card from their hand or sacrifices a permanent. You draw a card.

How is that for a choice?

2) Or How about When this land enters the battlefield Counter Target Spell or Draw 3 cards and then put 2 cards from your hand on top of your library. An opponent punches you in the nose so you won'r do it again.

3) Or When this land enters the battlefield You win the game or an Opponent Loses the game? Interesting right? Then you get kicked in the nuts for pulling off  a turn one win condition.

Oh well a guy could dream right?

This is one of the most anticipated releases for Miracles. OMG has been really busy providing great music may it be in Korean , Japanese or English. 

This particular MV follows the main character as she is constantly bogged down by work and so with her friends she plans her ultimate escape.

They build a rocket ship to go somewhere and that somewhere is revealed when our fan girl watches Oh My Girl's Non stop MV in secret at her office.

She makes the rocket , escapes her dreary job. Climbs on board with her friends and lands right smack dab center in the middle of an Oh My Girl stage in South Korea! 

Ah if only life's problems could be solved by a rocket. Oh wait. The South Korean neighbor seems to think that it can solve exactly with that.

I really like this MV and the song is a summer BOP. Hands up to Mr. Silva and Mougleta for this song. OMG is always proving that they can do any concept , in any language. Hahahahah

Always wear a mask. Except a Valved mask. A what?

You often see these masks , they have a one way valve that makes people breath easier. And while it does protect the wearer from the virus much cannot be said for the surroundings that that person inhabits.

As of this writing there are studies that point that presymptomatic and asymptomatic patients make up almost half of COVID19 patients. This means that without a mask one can speak , cough or sneeze and spread the virus without even knowing it. It poses no problem when people are in open areas but enclosed spaces like Restaurants and offices are a different matter. The virus can be suspended in the air for hours on end.

And wearing a valve mask contributes to this. As air from those wearing it comes out to the environment. Anyone using the same room has a high probability of getting the virus. It is as if the wearer was not wearing a mask at all.

So if you see anyone wearing a valved mask please ask them to put a surgical mask over it or simply just wear a surgical mask that offers better protection for everyone.

Ask the nicely. Ask them calmly and offer a solution instead of condemnation. People are worried and on edge nowadays. The last thing they need is someone barking at them when they feel that they have not done anything wrong.

Yes to masks. No to Valved Masks.

Nasa Battlefield na ang paboritong kong Omniscience at ang Sunbirds Invocation. Mga bigtime na enchantment na kadalasang nagiging hudyat na magscoop na ang mga kalaban ko ng mga cards at next game. Pero dahil magisa lang akong naglalaro wala namang makikipagkamay sa akin para magsabi ng GG sir. Kaya natutuloy lang ang aking mga masasarap na balak.

Kung may iba na ang pangarap ay perfect na holdap , ang gusto ko talaga ay ang sunod sunod na extra turns at ito nga ang nangyari. Minsan ko nang nasabi sa isang mahabang laro ng EDH sa DXC. "Ako lang! Ako lang ang mag eextra turn!!" Sarcastic yun kunyari at naka aim dun sa mahilig bumasag ng trip ng iba. Pero ang totoo gustong gusto ang extra turns. 3 deck ko nga ang may mga ganyang konsepto. At ang mga cards na ito ay nasa aking paboritong Nicol Bolas deck na laging bumubulong sa aking pagiisip.Nakikinig naman ako.

Pagkacast ko ng Beacon of Tomorrows na libre dahil sa Omniscience ay siya namang nagtrigger sa Sunbird's Invocation. Na nagsasabi na titingnan ko ang ibabaw ng aking library base sa converted mana cost ng nacast ko na spell. Sa pagkakataon ito ay 8 mana cost ng Beacon of Tomorrows. Kaya halukay ako ng 8 cards ng Library at ang isang tumambad ay ang Nexus of Fate na kasama si Sarkhan!!!

At yung...2 na magkakasunod na turns sa isang tira lang. Kadalasan concede na ako kapag nagawa ko ito sa tunay na laro. Minsan ang pagkapanalo ay di lamang sa pagdurog na kalaban mo. Minsan sapat na nagawa mo ang mga pangarap mong extra turns.

So I was able to post this question on my page a couple of days back and I really enjoyed how people answered this particular question. It was based on a couple of things that they knew about me. While there might be a few in my friends list that did not I was a Doctor the vast majority knew about this fact so I stated that: "If someone would say a Large Healing Potion I would just lose it." hahahahaha

While a couple did say healing items  one mentioned that I might drop a Phoenix down from the Final Fantasy series.They were basing this on the fact that I was a healer. I always thought I was the necromancer type but then again A Phoenix Down seems like a pretty heroic item to have on you don't you think?

Some of my other friends from the BPO industry did say that I would drop a God Tier Headset of Clarity. And that would certainly make waves for Call Center Agents everywhere to get very good Customer Satisfaction surveys. Oddly though I always thought I was deaf or would go deaf. Or maybe I was just too nervous to mess things up.

One suggested that I would drop some sort of Magical Brownie. The kind that let's you float into happiness and forget your pain for just a little while. Yup I think I dealt some of this stuff in my Apothecary in some past life. Hahahahahahahha

Another set of friends who noted my luck in opening Mythics in my booster packs said that I would probably drop a Brip of Luck. Probably maxed out but only specific to MTG booster pack openings. After my Borderless Box Topper Sword of Fire and Ice opening from Double Masters I would like to say that I still had my Brip about me.

I am glad to have such a diverse amount of friends.

I had a bad dream.

Down the line(I am assuming 5 years from now) WoTC no longer made new sets or mechanics. After the printing of the last Coreset and Standard Block magic turned to something that they always knew would work. They put out Masters Sets and Jumpstart sets that had curated mechanics and themes from Legacy to the last Sets.They reprinted cards but with new art creating a market that would never end. If you wanted Fetch Lands then you would have to wade through 6 or 7 versions of it.If you were a whale you would make it your life's work to track down all of the versions and those that can only be had through special means(Like sacrificing your beloved pet but mostly just your wallet).

It was about the bling now , the alternate art , the hard to find version of things that already existed. People still played but by having almost all of the cards in an Ultimate Ultra Super Secretive Lair drop somewhere the fear of missing our is heightened to a sharpened point and it pokes right at your wallet.

Also....I lied. I never sleep. Doesn't mean you can't have a bad dream while awake though.

Masks. By now most of the people you meet on the street or at work already wear a mask and a face shield on top of it. So why do people still get infected? There is debate if people should even wear masks.

To be clear. I advocate wearing masks. A surgical mask to be exact. A medical grade mask. The sad reality is that a vast majority of our country men cannot afford masks and are forced to wear whatever they could. Not the most ideal and that is why a face shield also helps.

We should remember though that covering is only part of this. Their is a trinity that works hand and hand and people have been saying it again and again. Like a broken record.

Hand Washing

A mask means nothing if you keep on scratching the part of your face underneath it or even picking your nose which is a good way of inserting the virus really deep in there.

A mask means nothing if you lower it down to your throat when you try or speak or it. Keep it on if you are speaking. It is protecting you and others around you. When you are eating or drinking remove it entirely and make sure that you are social distancing from others.

Eat only at designated areas where you can protect yourself and others with a barrier or limiting those who sit with you. Your face shield and mask mean nothing when you directly speak to each other on your breaks. The virus will not distinguish your friends and your enemies. You spread and get it just the same.

The paranoid survive. Assume that you have the virus. Make sure that you do not pass it around. Take care when you enter your house. Shower.Brush your teeth. wash your hands. 

If you live alone. Do it for yourself. If you live with others who might be worse off when they get this like the elderly , young or sickly , do it for them. 

Actions mean something in this day and age. People are showing their worst and their best selves. The time for you to choose has long gone past. And you should be choosing to be your best self right about now. Now is not the time to let your guard down. The virus is still here and spreading. Do your part. Do it consistently. 

Your actions matter. They always will.

In Mark Rosewater's Zendiclues there are several creatures that caught my eye and they are the following:

Wurm Horror

Hydra Horror

Cat Horror

These will be new creature types that will be coming out in Zendikar rising for the first time and it seems to me that even with the eradication of  the Eldrazi titans Kozilek and Ulamog as well as the Banishment of Emrakul on the Moon of Innistrad there are still remnants of their influence on Zendikar.

Don't expect these creatures to play a major role though as WoTc will be angling back for the adventure and exploration theme that Zendikar was first known for.

Of course these things will still be big and probably have Eldrazi tentacle art. I wonder if the Car Horror is related to the card Harmless offering but then again that card was on Innistrad. Hopefully this new Cat Horror will be a great addition to the current Rin and Serri the Inseperable decks.

Wurms and Hydras as Horrors. Not really a stretch of the imagination there. Both can have tentacles attached to them or not and still be pretty much horrifying.

Locally I have been trying to look for a group to follow and came upon SB New Gen a couple of months back. Nikkie , Daphne , Eunice , Keshia , Julie and Jelai(Who was a new addition as of their last single).

Coming off the heels of Dale Dale , Halo Halo is their latest single that talks about a girls feelings about a boy who seems to be constantly pestering her with sweet words(puro pambobola) and well the need to share the summer treat(Halo Halo) with the said boy. Hopefully that is not a euphemism for something else.

I actually like this song much more than Dale Dale and up to now I feel like these girls have been living under the shadow of their seniors. Well it is to be expected that they would want to continue the brand. They are the best selling girl group locally. However from Want U , to New Gen Shake , to Dale Dale there has been the influence of their seniors on New Gen.

And I feel that Halo Halo is the song where they have really developed their own style. Where they finaly became New Gen , without the tag lines of Get Get Out or any of the past generations taglines.

And the result is a song that had been building up in the last 3 songs.They sort of got better at mixing what they have into a style all of their own.

While Dale Dale seems like more money was thrown at it to make it look better Halo halo is hands down the much better song even if does suffer from a few minor let downs.

The opening with Nikkie hooks you right away with her husky low voice and that fil-am charm. Eunice is the only vocalist in this group and she does great in the chorus parts. What makes the song great is that the girls were able to utilize those low sultry style to give a sexy and cute vibe.   

I especially loved the rap parts of Julie and new comer Jelai , the former improving in each song while the latter was given a chance to sing albeit in that style that was both high and husky at the same time.

Daphne and her part was the let down for me as they made her sing too low and there are times that you could not understand what she was saying. It took me a couple of times to figure it out. But then again this might be the result of experimentation and uneven mixing as the beat seemed to drown her out.This is the only time I remember this happening.

Let me also say that finally a stylist clothed the girls in outfits that flattered their bodies more and did not make them look like some kpop rejects. I love their outfits here.

Some of the choreo is reminiscent of Sistar19's Ma Boy. Especially that stirring part but then again the main point of these girls dance is to mix or halo halo. Those body waves are awesome.I will never get tired watching Julie. Hahahahah

I can see a Chowking Halo halo endorsement down the line. I really hope it happens. The girls need that. And hopefully they are given more freedom to develop this new catchy style.

On a night (June 7, 2019) where I could be with my family we decided to use the Grab App to order some food.Some Palabok and Pichi-pichi would be nice. We were surprised that it was a female rider who immediately picked up our order.She was polite in her texts and update us constantly. 

When it was time to pick up our food from downstairs I noticed that our lady rider had a passenger who was clinging to her back while also trying to hold on to the plastic where I assumed the pichi-pichi was.

I went down and confirmed that it was a little girl in her jammies. Around 6-8 years old with her hair curled in most places. She was adorable. I got our food and gave the little girl a little extra for being such a good helper.

So when we were unwrapping our meal a sad thought entered my mind. Where was the Dad/Husband? Before I can think of anything negative I instantly countered myself by saying that he was probably working hard as well.Maybe some place else or maybe he was resting while it was his wifes turn to earn a little extra while he rested for the next shift. Always try and see the good I said to myself.

And it was then that my thoughts turned to gratitude. I was thankful that my wife and daughter were home , safe and eating their meals rather than being out there. Thankful that I can provide enough for them so that they would not need to earn anything extra.

I may not be the best dad but I take pride in saying that at least every my family needs is provided for.

A couple of weeks back my whole family and I decided to one of our beloved series growing up. Yuyu Hakushu. Or better known as Ghost Fighter in the Philippines. It follows the adventures of Eugene and friends as he does his job as a spirit detective.

Of course there are things that I have noticed now that I am bit older and have fallen into a much better context in this day and age. Here are 3 of them:

1) Karasu. Advocating Mask wearing since 1993.

Yup who would have thought about it. Karasu or Crow would now be a poster boy for Mask wearing in 2020 due to the current Pandemic. This guy has been wearing it and if you notice in that fight the moment he lost his mask. Well he lost. So guys please keep on wearing your masks.

2) This Monstrous plant is a Makahiya imbued with Kurama's dark energies.

Who would have thought of it? The original plantito himself Kurama who has the tendency to provide horrible fates to his enemies would actually use the common makahiya and turn it to this twisted but cool thing. Would never look at makahiya the same again.

3) Yomi. How the hell does he sleep?

I mean look at the guy. He has horns growing from all sides of his head. So how does he sleep? Does he have a special pillow? Or since he is blind we don't even know if he is sleeping or not. At least no one would simply say that he sleeps with his eyes closed. He always has them closed.

Oh well. What other things have you noticed after revisiting Yuyu Hakusho as an adult?

"Kung sa bagay Ok din naman na magkaroon lahat ng COVID19. Meron kasi tinatawag na Herd Immunity."

This was one of the things that I read as I scanned through a group chat of MTG players. The speaker is a Doctor that people trust in the community(as far as I could tell from the other peoples reactions in the group chat).

This happened a few months back and I felt a little bit of regret at not correcting this dangerous assumption.

Herd Immunity during that time according to the CDC can only be achieved by having the 90-95% of country's population infected with the deadly virus.

While a lot of people hope that this will help in the long run there are two inherent problems with this.

1) In the course of reaching this 90-95% infection rate 2% will  die(this is according to the statistics of those who have died from COVID19). Sure 2% seems like a small number. During that time there was only a 1000 deaths contributed to COVID19 in the Philippines. As of now our current population stands at 109,581,078. Roughly 110 Million people. And if you infect 90-95% , 2% is 220000. And that is something that you do not want on your hands now.

2) The other problem is that early studies have shown that there is no lasting immunity to COVID19. There are emerging cases of reinfection as I write this now. And there have been cases that there are no longer traces IgG in a persons system which makes them vulnerable again. Plus the new strains of the virus that have now been identified. So even if we succeed in infecting our population and have those deaths as sacrificial lambs there is no sure way of knowing if herd immunity will work.

I am hoping that this person has already updated himself by now. And that he had corrected himself and those that he had spread false or misguided information. In today's world , words are still powerful. And if people trust you , you can either lead people to healthier lives or to their deaths.

I am glad that I have written this today. I am sad that I did not have the strength to write it before. It is not ok for everyone to have this virus. Many are no longer among us. And many may also be lost before we find answers. I hope that people will be more careful with what they say especially those who may believe them easily without their own research.

With Zendikar Rising just around the corner and the 2 other planeswalkers(Nahiri And Jace) already spoiled. I wanted to talk about another Planeswalker that was spoiled even earlier. Now there have been speculation if this card actually exists. If this is true then Azusa would probably increase in value as having this particular Planeswalker with Landfall can fully take advantage of this Legendary creatures 3 land drop per turn.

In an EDH game , Azusa and 3 Fetchlands can put 6 Loyalty counters on this New Golgari Planeswalker(If it is true). And that is an exciting prospect but her last ability is still tied to the fact that you need to have a set number of lands to fully use it. Even if you can ramp into 3 other lands via the Azusa-Fetch Method you would still just end up with your currrent lands plus 3. 

Of course if you can wait just a little more and maybe even use the +1 Ability to untap a land you control and make it a 3/3 creature with Menace. Good defender as the build up for the next turn might actually allow you to have a fatty stomper on your side of the board.

So if Nissa dabbled in Black mana she can now reanimate things from your graveyard or just let you cast really big beasts from your hand.

The next question is that if this really exists. Well September is barely here. We will have our answers soon enough.

It has been awhile and now might be a great place to start. YooA of Oh My Girl is finally getting her Solo this September 7 2020. OMG has been having one hell of a year despite what has been happening and YooA might just continue that positivity with her debut track Bon Voyage.

Now I don't normally react to just the teasers for an MV because that is all they are , teasers but when some Miracles(OMG's Fandom) floated the idea around that this new MV might be related to another MV(and they are usually right) it got me writing again. 

Well the 1:21 minute teaser follows YooA as she drives through a cedar lined road which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere.  Her cars break down and fog starts to flow in from everywhere and as it clears,she drops her glasses , there in the middle of the road is a gigantic white wolf moving toward her one gigantic step at a time.

Is there fear on her face? Why yes , the Ultra High Def camera seemed to capture every clear inch of that angelic face as it turned from realization , fear and acceptance. 

She closes her eyes twice in this sequence , the first as if wishing the image away and the 2nd knowing the fate that might befall her in this empty stretch of road.

Before I go on about the connection an older song I just wanted to point out that this is the first time that any member has used a dangerous animal in a video(Albeit CG , thanks WM for spending all the dough on YooA. It will be worth every cent). OMG has been known to be associated with cute animals like Monkeys and Pink Whales. They have also been associated with graceful Deer like in Closer or Windy Day.(Oh my Bong , the official light stick even features this design prominently)

And there I have mentioned that last song that might be a connection to this Solo song of YooA. Windy Day. There is a scene there where as Deer(with Antlers) YooA and Seunghee are running on an empty stretch of Road , as if caught in the bright lights of a vehicle , they are running out of fear. 

Windy Day and Bon Voyage if sources are to be believed was shot on the same Ancient Cedar Lined Road in Jeju Island!!! If so we have finally come face to face with what they have running from on that dark night. This Giant White Wolf. 

Why did YooA come back? What will happen to her? She is saying good wishes to those who will be going on a journey. Is she saying that herself as she accepts her fate after escaping from it all those years? Or is she saying goodbye to her fears?

Come September 7 , 2020 we will be able to find out more. The feel of this teaser seems like a cut scene from a cool video game and there is that high expectation in the air. I will wait. I will see.

It is seldom that I get to start a manga from the beginning. I usually start from a couple of issues and work my way back and forward to get caught up. Or even finish a whole series just because a friend suggested it to me.

My house has been on the grips of Bleach fever ever since it was shown on Netflix. And so it was with great pleasure that I found this new manga from Tite Kubo which also occurs on the Bleach Universe.

We follow the adventures of Two Witches Ninny Spangcole and Noel Niihashi who work for the Western Branch of Soul Society. In a place called Reverse London. We are also introduced to Balgo and the Dark Dragons that now take the place of Hollows as the creatures of interest in this series.

The Good:

Tite Kubo's art is still as dynamic as ever. His women always gorgeous and his monsters well terrifying. Oh and his cute characters are just cute hahahaha

Being in Reverse London makes you feel that this whole manga a cross between Bleach and Harry Potter.

Spells and Broomsticks and what not.

The Bad:

Well since this has been serialized we are again introduced to a whole flood of characters that form the foundation of the Western Branch of Soul Society.It can be quite a handful. I still don't have a favorite as I did when I saw Mayuri. The Research Department Head was absent in the first chapter so I might as well wait for him or her hahahah.

The Ugly:

None whatsoever. Of course there is just the waiting for now.

Sa araw araw na lumilipas bakit ganun pa din kaya? Originally posted this last June 2020 when MECQ was declared. It is not August 29 , 2020. GCQ na. But the horror stories are still the same.

1) Dalawang buntis na nagtsisimisan sa daan habang ang mga mask nila ay hanggang nasa baba lang. Naglalakad sa maraming tao na parang normal. 

2) 3 Teenager na walang mask na magkakaakbay habang tumatawid sa daan na parang may sariling silang music video. 3 potential may COVID tapos lahat ng kasama nila sa bahay na walang kaalam alam kung saan sila galing at kung ano ang ginawa nila. 

3) Nagmaskara pero bibig lang ang tinakpan.  

4) Nagmaskara tapos binaba para magyosi.Nakipagkuwentuhan.

5) Nagjogging sa maraming tao ng walang mask. Napagod tumayo tayo habang hinihingal sa gitna nila.

6) Nakitang lahat nag social distancing sa tindahan. Sabay biglang tabi dun sa nauna. Sumingit. 2 stick lang daw bibilhin.  

Sa Normal na araw walang papansin sa mga eksena. Sa mga ganitong araw nararamdaman mo na yung 2nd Wave.

I have had a Nicol Bolas Planeswalker tribal deck for some time now. This is my deck of choice when we used to play when my friends and I play Archenemy in HP Centris(Now DXC Centris). It was basically a hit or miss deck. When the gears turned in the Dragon gods favor everyone falls. But to be honest there was a part of me that watered down the deck , made it less efficient , the lands were not the best , the rocks or even the spells that I used. There was a part of me that enjoyed as my friends groaned in agony as another Bolas or planeswalker landed on the battlefield to increase my advantage.

At the back of my head I did not put all of my good pieces in the deck because I had pride. I always believed that the ultimate pleasure was beating a deck worth thousands of pesos with a deck that had the basic lands worth more than it's entire content. Until it dawned on me that this was actually beginning to shape up like the thousand peso deck that I wanted to beat. 

During this whole mess where people could not play face to face one of my stress relievers was sorting cards and restoring all of my broken EDH decks(Decks where I got pieces or lands from) or Completing decks that have been on the back burner for so long. I was able to complete all these. Ended up with 110 EDH decks but my heart was still restless. There was a whisper there that would not go away.

After griping to my wife that I have ran out of Plastic ng Yelo Sleeves and have now been recycling old ones to sleeve my growing EDH collection she asked if I had a favorite deck that I wanted a special sleeve for. And I said my favorite deck was Nicol Bolas. So she bought me a fancy , bling sleeve that made all the cards in the deck dazzle.

All this time Bolas was just in clear plastic with pieces like Liliana of the Veil in it but with the Bling Sleeves I saw it in a different light. This was a place to put all of my marbles in now. This would be the home of the efficient land fetches , shocklands , filter lands , multicolored lands.

This would be a place for the Moxes and the Crypts. For the Pacts and Forces. For the Tutors(5). For the planeswalkers both New and Old. This would be the deck worthy of Bolas.

And I listened to those whispers. And I hope that I could share my creation soon.
