One of the things that made my Phyrexian heart skip a beat was that in the lore of the Dominaria expansion ,  Karn had been excavating the Cyclix , a device that he plans to use to blow up the entire plane of New Phyrexia(formerly Mirrodin AKA Karn's plane). 

Just the mention of the metal plane sent me into a speculative frenzy and so me and my friends were excited to see a particular mechanic make a comeback in the War of the Spark. Proliferate! This mechanic let's you increase counters on permanents and on players. And in my mind that can only mean Poison counters.

There are several cards that make you proliferate in this expansion to support the large numbers of planeswalkers. There are a lot of creatures as well as lands that can do this for you.

This expansion features a lot of creative ways that proliferate can be expressed. Aside from creatures dying and then proliferating , there is the land fall trigger and the first time proliferate appears on a land card.

Magic loves to overlap mechanics , making synergies for the next set. And with Proliferate coming back. It seems( at least in my mind) that the Infect mechanic is now a big possibility.

Will they let the Infect mechanic return as it is? I doubt it. I predict that we will be seeing a watered down version of it in the next set. Or maybe we can even see the first ever Planeswalker with Infect coming out of that corrupted metal plane.

Be still my beating Phyrexian heart. It seems that Return to New Phyrexia is going to be a thing in the future. Keeping my oil slicked fingers for that one.

The highly addictive release from Black Pink which has been breaking Internet records puts out a straightforward video at first glance until you see the scenes that were plotted out for all for members. 

And while some of the scenes scream out for it's aesthetics there are still symbolism's in it that you might have missed. 

All members are trying to kill a version of love and 3 of them symbolize that love except for Lisa who destroys another form of it but more on that later.

Jenny with her Black and White Swans , her outfits match the stage as well. Her opening rap is fierce as one version rips a part a bejeweled heart.She is destroying what seems to be a balanced or stagnant form of love. 

Lisa's stage is inside a heavenly place full of sugary cereals that she destroys by bashing on them like some sugar addicted person. She is destroying that Naive part of being in love where you think all is sweet but will turn out otherwise.

There is a big bear trap where the girls dance in. And lo and behold when the angle is titled a little you see that this too is in the shape of a heart. Love is a trap!

Rose hits a version of herself with a car that has Ego as it's license plate. Killing something that is desperate trying to get away. The death of hope or Hopeful love. Where you wish things will get better but they do not.

Jisoo takes a flaming arrow and shoots it at her idealized self. A form of love that is beautiful and untarnished. Emotional love. Where you get the high of just being in love. The darker Jisoo is cold which might represent Logic and therefore a bane to those people in love who are so caught up in its emotional rush that they fail to see other things.

The scene where they sport Tomb Raider-esque outfits and the explosions as they dance might be a symbolism of finding one's self that has been buried and needs to be rediscovered after letting go of an unhealthy relationship.

Well I guess that is all for now.I particularly like this song with the rappers really awesome hooks and the vocal line getting really good moments as well. Millions already have seen it. This is just my take on the MV.

Eve could not remember how exactly it happened but what she remembered was the intense pain on the bridge of her nose as she fell down on the stage and their maknae Leejin clutched at her left leg.

The preparations were long and hard and the lack of sleep and exhaustion and the pain all mingled into one giant hand that she felt swatted her into sleep and darkness.

What she remembered was the feeling of strong hands carrying her. And the voices of her members asking if she was alright and the worried voice of their manager who seemed to be hovering over her. All the while the same manager was shouting at the other girls to prepare for their number and let the staff take care of her. The show continues.

Eve touched her face to feel the warm blood trickling down from it. All this hard work and she would have to sit it out because of a silly accident. She could not bring herself to be mad at Leejin. If it were possible she felt sorry for her more because everyone was judging her harshly even before this. She almost could read the news now. Clumsy Maknae causes accident. 

"Thank goodness Mr. Kim let you attend." It was their manager again. "Eve is right here."

"What have you gotten yourself into?" Eve remembered that voice. why was he here?

"I am trying to enjoy this concert and yet here you are getting into clumsy accidents."

Eve opened her eyes to look at V who despite the sharp comments looked genuinely concerned. He had cut his hair really short in this era but that did not mean that she didn't remember how he was back in the day."

"Save your concern for Leejin. She seems to have broken bones."

"Leg bones heal and can be covered. We can't cover your face as it swells and this looks like it is going to be bad."

"I know." Eve Snapped. "Tell me something that doesn't scare me."

"I am here."

Eve remembered the last time V told her that. It was the day after he broke up with her.

"Why doesn't that assure me?"

"Because you hold on to too much bad memories." V turned to the manager. "Please leave me with these two for 5 minutes."

"Thank you V. Mr. Jung owes you so much already."

"He is a friend and Eve and I go way back so I know how to do this without any one's aid. I must have mended this body for what seemed like an eternity now. She is going to be ok."

When the manager was gone Eve closed her eyes again. Leejin was moaning softly as she lost consciousness from the pain.

"See to her first. If it is any consolation at least her leg won't bother her as much as the news later."

"I will see to the bones and to the haters later." With one hand V turned the petite maknae on her side. Her face still contorting from the pain. "I am going to make this a little better but first I have to make it a bit worse. Nod if you agree."

Leejin bit her lower lip and nodded slowly. V put both hands on her leg and with one swift motion broke the bones. Leejin yelped more from surprise. V was using his powers to flood her system with cells that were sending her pain killers on a cellular level. Channeling his energy on both ends of the broken bone he held them in place and started to regrow from the bone plate itself.

"You are going to feel a bit tender on this leg for a couple of days. But if you follow my advise you won't need to miss your promotions all that much."

"Impressive as always."Eve said while still keeping her eyes closed."Not what about the would be haters. V took out his phone and with a swipe of his thumb dialed one of the few numbers that were in there. People who always knew to pick up when his number called whatever they were doing.

"Yes Master?"

"Yellow monitor the Luna concert feeds and delete any mention of Eve and Leejins accident. The same for websites or blogs that might be uploading anything about them."

"Will do Master. Suppression is now on."

"Very good. I have to heal Eve now. Make me proud." V closed his phone. "Now should I leave you disfigured or do you promise to behave?"

"I know you won't do that and well...I don't promise to behave in his body.Especially if you are around."

"Funny. I do have someone who is very possessive."

"And when did that ever stop you?"

"You have a point. Then again this is her that we are talking about."

"I really can't argue with you."

V put his hand over Eve's face and the blue light that emanated from it covered her. 

"I missed this warm feeling."

"Don't get used to it."

Eve grabbed both of V's wrists. "And what if I want it all for myself?"

"She doesn't like sharing. Human or not there will be trouble.Not let me heal you please?"

Eve let go of V but as he was finishing kissed the palms of his hands. "Allowing you to move away from me was a mistake."

"There are things that we can no longer correct. Only things that we need to accept."

"Not my strongest trait don't you agree?"

"There all done. You should be able to go on stage. Rest for 5 minutes. Jinsoul is still out there anyway. Let her work the crowd a bit."

"You even know the sequence of the concert. Impressive."

"Just rest. It will be your stage soon."

"Thanks V. This is not a proper thanks. I know where you live though."

V only looked at Eve. There was a time that she would have been excited with the thought but he had other things to take care of for now. 

"No thanks needed. This is for the old times. Not stop getting into accidents. I might not be in the next concert."

Eve nodded but in her mind she was still plotting at how to get his old flame off guard.
