"Aven's Second Dose Observation: Sensible Clothes"

While we were in line for her second dose I praised Aven for wearing sensible clothes. She just smiled at me.
There were kids in line that looked like they were on their way to a fashion show , some were wearing mid ribs and tubes. Some were wearing long sweaters and plaid polos in the sweltering heat of the Valenzuela Astrodome.
Some were wearing boots as if they were on their way to ride a horse. And some looked uncomfortable as if they were forced to wear what they wear by parents who mean well but might have gotten out of touch that this was supposed to be a vaccination drive.
Aven smiled at me as we talked and pointed out these silly things.
