In a moment your pretty face
Flashes on the screen
You flitter like a butterfly
leaving me breathless in your wake

The other faces blur
As I notice only your smile
The smile on your lips and those eyes
The smiles that I wish were all mine
III
And all so fast the song ends
leaving me wanting more
The dance mesmerized me
more than I can or want to ignore.
IV
With each flicker of your hair
I am transfixed on the stage
Holding my breathe and not knowing
Until the last note at last came.
