The waves are relentless

They drown me in my sleep

Though I stand here awake

They remind me of my sins

II

And I hear the hollow echoes

of the things that we were

Seeping through the walls

that I thought could protect me.

III

I am tired of this feeling

Of being haunted by your smile

I run away and hide

but it reaches me , it reaches me that smile.

IV

I drown myself in the waves

And hope that sleep carries me

but I am a fool for thinking

that I can escape my Destiny.
