Oh how I wish that my hands were steel

So that they cannot take you away

And I will be here for you as always

Stronger and faster than your foes.

If I cannot protect

Then what does that make me?

A failure beyond compare

Would you hate me then?

Oh how I wish my heart was steel

So that I cannot feel these

But I am human

Pierced heart and all.
