"Caged"

At the start cages are exchanged for another cage

And so promises made are also then held

To cherish , To love and to hold

To be there and so and so and so...

II

So the days go by and the birds keep chriping

Inside is a heart that keeps weeping

Yearning for the things when it was once free

Learning that there are bonds one cannot see

III

Until one day the gilded cage breaks

And that which was inside no longer knows how to fly

The thing cannot try , cannot escape

And so in the open cage it decides to die.
