"What I say to Fear"

I

Fear often whispers in my ear

this could fail

this could be the end

the worst thing you can ever be

And I find myself staring at it

And this is what I say

I know

I know that I could fail

I know that this might be it

I know that despite giving it all

I know .I I know I could fail.

III

Fear looks back at me as I answer

and it has nothing left to whisper.

So I do what I do

Pray and study and know

Listen and Live and Go.

I know I could fail.

Fear lets me go.
