"My Brothers Guardian"

When Aj or as he is known in Facebook John De leon was a mere baby I saw something that made me believe in the unseen. I was about 8 during that time and what I saw still baffles me after all this time. Aj was a very difficult pregnancy for mom , Mom's bag of water broke when he was about 5 months old , labor had to be delayed and mom had to lie on her back for 2 months straight. She underwent CS after Aj reached 7 months in her womb. Aj stayed in a hospital incubator for weeks to make him stronger. I could not help but believe that there is something unseen that was looking over my brother as he grew.

One time Aj was in his crib , he was barely a year old and he was already able to stand by holding on the side railings of his little baby prison. I was the only person with him in that kitchen that day , I did not notice it but Aj was able to lower the railings of this crib and was falling down a height of about 3 feet. I would not be able to catch Aj in time even I ran very fast. Then something happened. 

As if with invisible hands something had caught Aj and the fast fall slowed down. Aj still continued to descend but when he reached the floor there was not even a whimper. He had landed so softly that he did not even cry. I was so scared. I was 8 and could not understand what was going on? All I was thinking was what happened? was Aj ok? He was more than ok and Aj promptly began sucking at his thumb. I returned him to his crib and locked the railings.

I believe it was his guardian angel that saved him that day. I hope that he is still around AJ today.
