Awakened now from a slumber

A painted reality far from real

Of things eternally in conflict

Where peace was the fleeting dream

Yet I have began to question

Things that were shown

I have began to answer

with a voice of my own

Where the shifting sands

draw us in forever motion

towards things that we cannot fathom

And yet hope to fathom

IV

Awakened now and less awakened

For the reality I thought existed

Was from a fevered mind

One that I myself created.
