The first one I consumed

Up in that cold place

You were my first

Enticing were you

Those hands nimble and true

Among the drunken

We danced our secret dance

Lips touching

Hands clasping

Unknown in the darkness

A union was harnessed

You were a flame

brilliant and vibrant

While you were there

Until you were not.

I still remember

those times in the cold place

Your lips against mine

The first flame.
