Kiss me where the fire fades

and let us rekindle what was there

Moving the rusted gears of our hearts

and see if the embers sparks

But I guess it would be fine

even if I just keep this distance

I don't want the fires anymore

I just want this stillness

But I have to because I see you

and it kills me that you are unhappy

So we share this forced kiss

and look at eyes that have gone chilly

IV

And we hope and we hope

but the fires are still

And the embers refuse to spark

catching us in this awkward silence.
