And so it has come to this , the last Demon master standing in the way of Liliana and her freedom. With the way the other demons have been dispatched so easily I would not even bother to wonder how this one will go especially how disappointingly Razaketh went on the plane on Amonkhet.
Demonlord Belzenlok is an interesting creature as he is the representation of cards Limdul's Vault or Demonic Consultation. Instead of being a sorcery or Instant though , this one comes in a 6/6 flying , Trampling frame that can smash face when needed and also be your EDH and Brawl Commander.
So when he comes into play you can exile cards from the top of your library until you exile and nonland card. If the exiled card costs 4 mana or more then you repeat the process. Demonlord Belzenlok deals 1 damage to you for each card put into your hand this way. It probably won't let you dig further than Demonic consultation or Limduls vault as much but as a card in standard this is a great card to just get all of those pieces in your deck that you might need for a combo finish or maybe a mass removal spell that you can use later.
This guy might just represent a turning of the tides in your favor , unless you are probably dying to swarms of merfolk or pirates. In which case you might welcome his triggered ability to dig through your library.
