I wanted to be happy just being a part of your fiction

And I would have wanted to just stay

Another shadow overcome by these emotions

II

So why do I shy away from your gaze?

And it withers my none-existent resolve

You reach out your hand for me to hold.

III

A mirage in this desperation I convince myself

but the image never wavers 

And I must consider that this might be true

IV

"Take it" , you seem to say without saying

And as I reach out the lights come on

And I find me just like before , forever just in your fiction.
