Your smiles are empty as you give them to me

A reflection of your soul underneath

A simple thing to just say and do

To end these things between me and you

But things are never simple

and when I try to make them so

You are as complicated 

as that day I met you

You make me feel like the smiles are not just that

and the touch you offer is always nothing short

It must be another one of your hazy illusions

but I am trapped here forever looping on you.
