I

You always leave me in this mess

The turmoil that comes from nothing

I stay here and wait for that day

And I hope without ever knowing

II

I sigh and know that it never changes

You hate me and you love me the same

You spew out venom and honey

and I crave for both in the same vein

III

I laugh off how hard things are

knowing things are better by far

I know for some reason

And it starts with your smile

IV

Yet with the mood that you are in

All I can do is wait

A man in the storm

Surrounded by the rain.

I should be writing

And so I am now

It is only here where I find these things

These thoughts , these feelings

The pleasure of putting

Thoughts on paper

Shaping them into something

that did not exist a moment before.

III

Creation is not as easy

as others think it should be

Same with destruction

the same effort can be said

IV

I smile at these words

knowing that they are mine and mine alone

And maybe hand in hand

Slowly becomes my Destruction and Creation.
