I

I ran towards the other end

And there you still sat

Not minding the effort I took

You Smile and say

It is fine if you run

Just know that you are mine

II

I laughed at this predicament

Since dawn I have predicted it

And now that the stars are here I am done

My freezing breathe 

And my body withering from the cold

You laughing as well that you should

III

You hold me in your arms

And kiss my forehead for that little warmth

It sets me on fire , it sets me on fire

And I blaze there all silent

Like the final embers on this night

I escape in fumes from this vessel.
