"Opening The Dams"

I
We are all drowning
And as people cry out for help
The people who should help
Have now opened up the stream
II
They have freed the water
From the Dam it was held
And have now attempted to drown
A village already submerged
III
And Some of the people
Though dying still give praise
The water is for me they say
As if they can still be saved.
