Will I let it crush me this time?

And extinguish my hope.

Would I ever let it

put me down in that hole?

Will I let this sinking feeling

sink me even deeper in this depth?

Will I let this darkness consume me

like it did the previous year?

I think not

and you can find me burying this monster

burning the bridge to that lot

and then the key to my ocean.
