"Pramikon , Sky Rampart: Walling Reality"

Walls. Defenders. Stops attacks cold in their tracks. From the beginning of Magic's 25 year history there have always been Walls to buy clever planeswalkers time to devise a way of winning but as far as I remember there has never been a Legendary wall of this stature.
Pramikon , Sky Rampart is a Legendary wall in the Jeskai colors , has flying and a 1/5 body. It seems like the wall can be seen as just that but it has another function that sets it apart from normal walls. It determines how the flow of attacks will go.
When it comes into play , it's controller will choose left or right. Each player may only attack the nearest player or planeswalker they control in the chosen direction. It literally walls one side of reality and forces you to play a certain way.
A couple of things. This looks like it might have been an enchantment in development but they probably decided to make it a creature so that it can be dealt with by a Terror or such. And it is also a great thing that that they decided no to give it hexproof. I can imagine the collective groaning across the EDH table once it comes down and it has hexproof.
Another thing is why make it Jeskai colors? You already have Arcadis who can take advantage of this in a wall deck that already exists. Why not Bant colors? I guess I won't know the answer to this one. I may just be thankful that this wall can be dealt when needed.
