Lost in this summer night

In those eyes of amber

Bathed in the moonlight

your porcelain skin shines

I cannot let go of this

Now that you are here

You whisper your words

like nectar in my ear

Lips touching

Mind slipping

Here this summer night

Holding each other tight

Lost in your soft voice

No coherent choice

No longer in control 

I let myself go

V

And you smile knowing

This will be the summer night

You say , hold on to this

And your memory sets me afire.
