The flames roared

The shadows grew

And here I am

Just slowly thinking of you

If I build a fire

A big one all at once

Would you ever notice

The big shadow I would cast?

Will you love me?

Ask me to be yours?

Should the flames roar?

Should I grow?

IV

Or will I be consumed?

As men like me often do

burned by the same flames

burned by what we do.
