There are ghost stories that happened to me in the distant past.Usually decades ago. Way back when I was younger. What I write now are things that have happened just this past week.

I wanted to think that since moving out from my folks house these thing with ghosts would stop but it seems that they are constantly around me wherever I go. 

My family and I live in a 3 Storey Condo type house. A new house with no history of killings or suicides.We live on the 2nd floor. There are constant moving and goings since there are a lot of students in the area. The one renting the room directly above us was a medical student who I have talked to once or twice because he would often lift weights or do exercises in the middle of the night when he was not on duty. The guy apologized to me a couple of times as well.

Last week I was told that one of the rooms on the 3rd floor was being vacated. I did not know which one. So when we prepared for bed at around 8 pm or so it was not unusual for us to hear footsteps or sounds of people moving in the room above us. We do not mind really since after a few minutes it would stop. 

One time I heard as if a table was being dragged from one point to another. Another time the sound of something dropping to the floor , like the sound a barbel makes when it is put down. Nothing unusual about it since the guy up stairs seems to be doing a few reps and just stopping before it gets too annoying.

This morning I talked to one of the house caretakers. I asked which room was empty. He told me that it was the room directly above our house. I was surprised because of all the things my wife and I heard the past week. The caretaker said that the place was locked and that no one could get in there because the key was kept with our landlord in another house. 

The sounds seemed to have stopped now.I hope they don't come back and ruin my sleep.
