"Your Lifestyle , Your Cancer"

"You know its party time..."

"When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors." - John Hopkins , about Cancer

"Your Lifestyle , Your Cancer"

At the end of each Clinic Consultation part of a patients management is almost always Lifestyle change. Normally this is just written down on a patients chart as if it was just part of a pre-set pattern that needed to be added. Not much thought is given to its actual implementation. Doctors who are swamped in the Out patient department seldomly get the time to actually talk what these life style changes are about or if they do manage to talk to a patient they believe that despite their best effort in convincing the patient , the patient will still continue their unhealthy ways out of habit. Ask them to cut down smoking and they light one up right after they get out of the clinic , ask them to eat right and they will eat the same things again and again despite being hypertensive , despite being Diabetic. What I have seen though is that patients may not change for the person they love the most but they would change if it means that they are going to die because of their lack of action.

Self preseveration trumps love in this scenario. With the latest Cancer findings pointing to Lifestyle as a very significant factor in developing it,  patients may now find it much easier to live a healthier life. A very good immune system suppresses cancer the findings say as well so it is in the patients best interests to always stay healthy and lead a healthy lifestyle. Easier said than done but in this case it has to be done.

"She makes it look good but processed meat is not all that hot..."

Cutting down on Cigarettes then may mean that you could actually give your immune system a chance to take care of Cancer before they start developing in your lungs. Eating less processed meat may mean that you are letting go of one guilty pleasure but it is better to be actually a bit miserable than not feeling a bit miserable in the long run because you are dead.

The findings also suggest that if we stress our immune systems constantly by getting sick and not worry about how many times we get sick in a year then we are also prone to cancer. So working more than 40 hours in a week is considered cancer causing in this regard. Sleeping right and getting enough rest for your body means that you are prolonging it. what a concept right? It does not hurt to sleep and recharge what hurts is the fact that sometime in the future your body will be so out of whack that it can no longer win the deadly battles that rage in it everyday.

"I'm not sure if making it hard to drink will make people cut back on drinking though..."

We all have cancer cells the findings say only the levels of cancer that we have never show up on tests because our Immune systems are handling it very well. Let us not wait for it to break down.
Always remember "Your Lifestyle , Your Cancer."
