Meanwhile in a Certain Company Clinic in QC: "Screener Moments"

Part of the screening was this question which I simplify to "Kamusta naman po kayo today?" expecting to ask this question more than a hundred times through the night.

Most simply answer with ok lang po Doc. And we continue.

Then there are these patients:

Me: "Kamusta naman po kayo today?"

Patient: (Long Pause , stares straight ahead at nothing).....Ok lang po (May simpleng kagat ng labi)

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Me: "Kamusta naman po kayo today?"

Patient: Ok lang po...sabay may tumulong luha.(Mabilisang pahid)

Me: "Parang may pinagdadaanan po tayo today ah."(In hopes of lightening the mood) 

Patient: (Smiles) Balik na lang ako Doc. (Sabay takbo)

It was then that I decided to change to

"Wala namang sakit today ano?"
