"The Voices in the Fog"

When I was in still staying in Baguio one of my friends had a band that would practice near a place called Crystal Cave. Baguio is known for its fog because of the cold temperature and in that area fogs rolled in on a regular basis. There are a lot of superstitions about Fogs in a lot of cultures , some says it brings monsters , some says it brings spirits from somewhere else. I was creeped out by the fact stories but I didnt know that I get an actual physical evidence of those spirits.
My friend Eros excitedly brought me a casette tape one day and he said that I should listen to it. We played it together on my radio. It was a recording of one their brand rehearsals. The audio started out with the usual band stuff . tuning , people chatting. There was a pause and then all of a sudden there was a voice that came on ,a small high-pitched voice that seemed to go on for a couple of minutes or so. There would be another pause when the voice stopped and the usual band chatter would come in. Eros and I could not understand a word. It might have been an alien message or a curse we still do not know until this day. Though I was creeped out by the high-pitched voice we listened to it a couple more times. Apparently the band were not even aware of the "voice" the whole time and only heard it when they tried to listen to their jam session. The bands vocalist Nikko would later recall that the pause in the session where the voice or voices came in(We were never sure) coincided with the time that the entire hillside was engulfed by the usual rolling fog.
Freaked out by this the band no longer practices during a fog roll. They might never know what else could be recorded during those times. If I didn't want to know. They sure as hell did not want to know as well.
