I never thought that a cough
Could reveal so much of a person
Someone who is consumed by fears
And then abandons all reason.

Dirty , unclean , not worthy
All ringing in their heads
You deserve it,damned and filthy
From their waking to their beds
III
Why is it that their humanity dies?
Is it something innate in them?
Self preservation at this price?
Closing their eyes as others die
