We go on in circles

Lost in this murky haze

We see others around us

People who we cannot reach

II

We shout in the dark

and these people continue to dream

We warn them of the chasm

but they plunge on ahead

III

We hear them fall

We hear them scream

They are all oblivious

trapped in this beautiful sleep

IV

We go on in circles

and we see fewer and fewer still

We keep on shouting.

They keep falling.
